Our Story

Built for Builders

To make buying and owning a home feel as modern as every other major purchase, by giving builders one connected platform that puts the buyer at the center, from first visit to a decade after move-in.

Founder & CEO, Threshold

Steven Govoni is the founder and CEO of Threshold. I started the company after seeing the same pattern across homebuilding: the buyer, the person spending the most money and carrying the most emotion, was the one left most in the dark, while builders, agents, and back-office systems all worked in disconnected silos. My conviction is simple: put the buyer at the center, connect every workflow around them, and everyone wins. Builders sell more homes, agents stop delivering stale information, and homeowners stay connected for a decade instead of being forgotten at closing. Threshold is the operating system I wish every modern builder will utilize.

Why Threshold

Buying a home is the largest purchase most people will ever make, and it's still run on spreadsheets, email threads, PDFs, and a stack of disconnected software. Builders lose track of deals. Agents chase down information that's already out of date. And the buyer, who shops for everything else visually and on their own timeline, is asked to make a half-million-dollar decision through a fog of phone tag and paperwork. Threshold was built to close that gap. Rather than forcing builders to rip out what already works, it overlays their existing stack (or becomes the system of record for builders still running on spreadsheets) and unifies the entire journey around one thing: the buyer's experience. From first browse, through configuration, financing, and signing, to ten years of homeownership after closing, every workflow connects to the same source of truth. The result is a buyer experience that feels as modern as the ones people already trust everywhere else in their lives, and a builder operation that finally runs as one connected system instead of seven.

Our Philosophy

The Five Cornerstones

Threshold is built on five principles that hold up one outcome. Every new idea has to fit one of the five, and make it stronger.

The five cornerstones of Threshold shown as a house: Vision at the peak, Integration and Trust as the upper supports, Human-Centered Experience and Clarity as the foundation, together supporting one outcome, a better home-buying experience.
01

Vision

The entire home-buying journey in one place, from first click to move-in and beyond.

02

Integration

Sits on top of the CRM and production systems you already run. No rip-and-replace.

03

Trust

Each builder's data is walled off from every other, security is verified, and control stays with you.

04

Human-Centered Experience

Buyers see their home, their choices, and their next step. Never the system running underneath.

05

Clarity

Every price, selection, document, and status lives on the one home it belongs to.
